From the moment numbers made sense to me, I knew data was my language. I build analytical systems, dashboards, and insights that do not just inform — they drive real, measurable change.
Ever since I was a child, I have been drawn to patterns — the way numbers tell stories that words sometimes cannot. That early curiosity grew into a deep passion for data science and business analytics, where I transform complex datasets into clear, strategic narratives that drive real decisions.
I moved from India to the United States at 17 years old to pursue my Bachelor's degree at Arizona State University — a leap of faith that shaped everything about who I am today. I am now a Senior at ASU pursuing a B.S. in Data Science with a minor in Business Data Analytics. Every project I take on carries the same energy I brought when I first landed here — determined, curious, and ready to figure it out.
Outside of data, I am probably cooking something new in the kitchen, going on a long walk with no particular destination, or deep in a podcast rabbit hole. I am one of those people who genuinely does not watch movies — I would rather spend that time building something, reading, or having a good conversation over food. Constructed 10+ SQL queries using JOINs, CTEs, UNION ALL, and aggregations to model data from 3 relational datasets across 13 U.S. regions. Built full Power BI and Tableau reports with DAX expressions, automating KPI calculations and reducing manual analysis time by 40%. Delivered a data-driven recommendation identifying the Northwest as optimal for ESG sustainability and cost-efficiency.
Executed end-to-end analytics using Python on 3+ years of web traffic data, computing KPIs that revealed a 25% improvement in session duration post-split. Analyzed A/B test on CTA conversion — test group outperformed control by 33%. Created Excel models with PivotTables and XLOOKUP; authored executive memo with strategic recommendations.
Analyzed 8,807+ Netflix titles to uncover content trends and build predictive models. Applied Random Forest Classification to predict Movie vs. TV Show type. Used K-Means Clustering with elbow method to discover 4 natural content groupings. Duration was the top predictive feature across all models.
Co-built a full-stack role-based help system for ASU's CSE 360 course across 4 development phases. Implemented secure login, role-based access control, article management with encryption, backup/restore, and special access groups. Full JUnit test coverage — perfect scores all phases, zero rework required.
Engineered a self-driving LEGO Mindstorms vehicle designed for individuals with disabilities. Programmed autonomous navigation using ultrasonic sensors for real-time obstacle detection, color-sensor traffic logic, and a MATLAB keyboard-controlled manual override. Featured a sliding wheelchair ramp and wireless remote operation.
